From Humble Roots to Strategic Visionaries

Our first office opened in the heart of Malé City in 2010, expanding software design and development capabilities to meet growing demand. By 2012, we were serving international clients and opened our next hub in Hulhumalé, before returning to Malé in 2014 to centralize operations.

But the journey wasn’t linear.

Amid economic and political turbulence in 2015, we hit pause. Government partnerships had been our primary clientele—and the instability demanded a pivot.

So, we adapted. In 2016, Maldicore re-emerged as a remote-first company, embracing flexibility long before it became the norm. We operated fully from home—until COVID-19 disrupted the world once again.

A Cloud-Native Comeback

In 2022, we returned for a third and defining time—this time with 90% of our operations in the cloud. This transformation gave us a global edge—allowing us to scale sustainably, hire talent worldwide, and serve clients both locally and internationally with seamless digital delivery.

Through each evolution, we weren’t just surviving—we were learning, testing, iterating.
